# Concealed Carry Permits

The State of San Andreas hereby issues **Concealed Carry Permits** to eligible individuals who meet specific criteria and provide a valid justification for the issuance of such a permit. These permits may be granted by any **Peace Officer, Judge, or Justice** and allow individuals to carry a firearm in a concealed manner while adhering to all legal regulations.

Any applicant wishing to obtain a **Concealed Carry Permit** must meet the following conditions:

* Must have a **clean criminal record** with no prior felony convictions.
* Must **not be currently on bond** or have outstanding warrants.
* Must be at least **18 years of age or older**.
* Must **pay a non-refundable fee of $5000** upon application.

***

#### **Subsection 2: Conditions and Responsibilities**

Upon issuance of a **Concealed Carry Permit**, the permit holder agrees to the following conditions:

* It is the permit holder’s **duty to inform** any Peace Officer, upon interaction, that they are in possession of a firearm and have a legal permit to carry it.
* **Open carry is prohibited** under this permit; the firearm must remain concealed at all times and cannot be displayed in **hand, holster, or other visible forms**.
* **Any conviction of a firearm-related offense will result in immediate revocation** of the permit.
* Permit holders may only **possess firearms legally obtained** from licensed dealers such as **Ammu-Nation Stores**.
* Permit holders **may not distribute firearms** to individuals who do not possess a valid **Concealed Carry Permit**.

***

#### **Subsection 3: Revocation and Violations**

A **Concealed Carry Permit** may be **revoked or suspended** under the following circumstances:

* If the permit holder is **charged with or convicted of any firearm-related crime**.
* If the permit holder **fails to inform** a Peace Officer of their firearm during an official interaction.
* If the permit holder **brandishes or openly displays** their firearm unlawfully.
* If the permit holder is **found in possession of an illegally obtained firearm**.
* If the permit holder is **no longer legally eligible** due to a criminal offense or change in status.

Violations of **concealed carry laws** may result in criminal charges, fines, and permanent ineligibility for future **Concealed Carry Permits**.

***

#### **Subsection 4: Renewal and Appeal Process**

* Concealed Carry Permits **must be renewed periodically**, with the renewal process requiring a background check and an additional fee.
* Individuals whose permits have been **revoked or denied** may submit an **appeal** to the Department of Justice for review, provided they meet reinstatement criteria.
