# \[6] 11 - Obstructing a Driveway or Intersection

**Offense Classification:** **Infraction**

#### **Definition:**

This occurs when a vehicle is **parked or stopped in such a way that it blocks the free movement of vehicles in or out of driveways, alleys, or intersections**, hindering traffic flow or access.

#### **Elements of the Crime:**

* The vehicle was **stationary at a point that blocked driveway access or intersection visibility**.
* The obstruction **interfered with another vehicle’s legal right to enter or exit** a public or private access point.

#### **Penalties:**

**Infraction:**

* **Fine:** $350
* **Towing:** Possible if creating a traffic hazard or emergency obstruction
