# MCC 2 – No Wake Zone

**Offense Classification:** Infraction

**Definition:**\
No Wake Zone violations occur when a vessel is operated within 25 feet of shore at a speed greater than 10 knots.

**Areas Covered:**

* **Los Santos County:** La Puerta Docks, Vespucci Canals, beach shoreline from La Puerta docks to pier.
* **Blaine County:** Alamo Sea, Raton Canyon River, Zancudo River.

**Elements of the Crime:**

* The vessel was within 25 feet of shore.
* The vessel was operated at greater than 10 knots.

**Penalties:**

* Jail Time: 0 Months
* Fine: $250–$300

**Related Charges:**

* MCC 7 – Offroading Restrictions (if combined with land/water violations)
