# MCC 7 – Offroading Restrictions

**Offense Classification:** Infraction / Misdemeanor (Repeat)

**Definition:**\
Offroading Restrictions prohibit non-ATV/ORV vehicles from operating in sensitive wilderness, beaches, and restricted areas.

**Restricted Areas:**

* Mount Chiliad Walking Trails
* Paleto Forest
* Mount Gordo Walking Trails
* Paleto Bay Beach
* Alamo Sea shoreline
* Within 30 feet of rail tracks or oil derricks
* Lago Zancudo
* Within 50 feet of any airfield
* Within 200 feet of Bolingbroke Penitentiary
* Senora National Park

**Elements of the Crime:**

* The vehicle was a non-ATV/ORV.
* The vehicle operated in a restricted natural or protected area.
* The driver had no emergency/patrol exemption.

**Penalties:**

* **Infraction (First Offense):**
  * Jail Time: 0 Months
  * Fine: $1,500
* **Misdemeanor (Repeat Offense):**
  * Jail Time: Up to 20 Months
  * Fine: $1,500

**Related Charges:**

* MCC 2 – No Wake Zone (if related to shoreline misuse)
