# Revocation and Restatement of Licenses

**Revocation of Hunting and Fishing Licenses**

Hunting and fishing licenses may be **revoked or suspended** if an individual repeatedly violates **wildlife laws** or commits serious offenses. License revocation ensures that **wildlife regulations are enforced and conservation efforts are upheld**.

**Grounds for License Revocation**

A hunting or fishing license may be **revoked or suspended** for the following offenses:

* **Repeated violations** of wildlife laws (e.g., multiple offenses under \[9] 1 - 4).
* **Severe violations**, such as **poaching protected species** or **using illegal hunting/fishing methods**.
* **Failure to pay outstanding fines** related to hunting or fishing violations.
* **Providing false information** when applying for a license.

Once revoked, the individual **loses all hunting and fishing privileges** until reinstated through the proper legal process.

**License Suspension Periods**

| **Offense** | **Suspension Duration** |
| ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| First major violation | 1-week suspension |
| Second major violation | 2-week suspension |
| Repeat offenses (3+ violations) | 1-month suspension / Permanent with cause |

**Note:** Law Enforcement Officers **may confiscate an individual’s license on the spot** if the violation warrants immediate suspension.

**Reinstatement of Licenses**

Individuals who have had their hunting or fishing license **suspended** may apply for reinstatement under the following conditions:

1. **Serve the required suspension period** as determined by the violation.
2. **Pay all outstanding fines and penalties** associated with prior offenses.
3. **Complete any required hunting/fishing safety courses** (if mandated by law).
4. **Submit a formal appeal or request for reinstatement** to the appropriate licensing authority.

In cases of **permanent revocation**, reinstatement is **only possible through an official legal appeal**.

**Enforcement Actions**

* **Law Enforcement Officers may seize** revoked or suspended licenses upon discovery.
* **Engaging in hunting or fishing activities with a revoked license** is a **criminal offense**, punishable by **increased fines and possible legal action**.

Hunters and fishers must **abide by all regulations** to maintain their **hunting and fishing privileges**. Failure to do so may result in **temporary or permanent loss of licensing rights**.
